We are looking for a ML Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join a healthcare project. This role provides a chance to leverage your expertise in transformative health tech innovation, driving enhanced clinical outcomes and elevating patient care. You’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and an energetic, fast-moving startup team, where independence, creativity, and a proactive mindset are key to tackling complex challenges.
Functionality and main tasks
Algorithm Refinement: Refine bowel sound recognition algorithms to achieve greater accuracy across various environments.
Model Development: Develop predictive machine learning models to identify bowel health events and disorders.
Sound Processing: Utilize audio signal processing techniques, such as noise reduction and sound classification.
Healthcare Collaboration: Work with clinicians to ensure algorithms meet clinical needs and validate their practical applicability.
Startup Contribution: Take initiative and confidently manage tasks while navigating ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Data Management: Ensure quality and usability of large acoustic and contextual datasets.
Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and medical advisors to align with device capabilities.
Documentation: Record methodologies and results, contributing to research publications when appropriate.
